Mathematics Observation for 04/30/2010
I found when observing the Algebra I class that I have to learn how to grasp the interest of all the students involved. I must also find time when providing lecture to address the needs of students who fall behind the normal pace of learning and show that mathematics (in particular algebra) is relevance to everyday situations, and can be applied to every day life encounters. Again many students still do not understand the need to take such higher level mathematics courses therefore we must provide literacy instruction in the content area through various sources of media, textbook or computer so that we as educator can provide that understanding for the need to take such courses.
